Melodic Abstraction

A restless soul I am indeed. The gypsy dance has me standing still, caught in a daze as melodies pour out of me, gushing onto the soft earth beneath my feet.
I like my wine a little too much and I like to dust the cobwebs away from dear old melodies, bringing them back to life; if only for a brief moment.

“Make it about the big picture. Opera is the culmination of everything. Opera is about life, it’s about breath, it’s about energy, it’s about passion, it’s about forgiveness, it’s about betrayal. You need to know what life is to put that through.”
